You may recall that the United Nations Environmental Assembly in March 2022, marked a historic moment as governments worldwide officially adopted a mandate to initiate negotiations for a global, legally-binding plastics treaty, including in the marine environment. The mandates aim is to tackle the entire lifecycle of plastics, from production, design through to disposal and reuse …
The final negotiations to reach this goal are scheduled for November 2024 where the fifth session (INC-5) will be held in Busan, Republic of Korea. The pressing question looms: will plastic pollution prevail, or can our collective power turn the tide?

The documentary Common Ground has reached the UK. The Genesis Cinema in Bethnal Green London, will be showcasing it this Thursday 1st August.
‘the film explores how Americans from different walks of life, different political backgrounds, and different parts of the country share one thing in common –the very soil beneath their feet. The film investigates the power of “regenerative” farming systems –from large to small-scale farmers who are the champions of soil health as the key to unlocking more (and healthier) food to feed America and the world.’
