Stories, say the Stories for Life project, “are the coding that shape what we believe, what we choose, who we are – how we think, feel and act everyday. They shape our understanding of the world and the way we act in it, so stories shape the world itself. The stories we choose to live by everyday weave the cultural narratives which inform the design of the human systems we create and how we organise ourselves on our home planet. Two new films from the collective examine the story of our relationship with nature and the story of how we measure success, asking how we might shift our cultural narratives to “help accelerate the redesign of our now destructive industrial economies”. Sticking with the role of stories, the Reset Narratives Community is a “space for folk working on (or who are curious about) narrative change, and the role it plays in system change….”We consist of 100+ organisations who share an ambition for a fairer, greener world, from charities and think tanks to funders and creative studios. Our aim is to be ‘movement generous’, working in a spirit of reciprocity, across diverse issue areas from climate and social justice to new economics and countering hate,” they say. More here

Now comes news of another major consultancy eyeing up Net Zero as a business opportunity - Boston Consulting has published its CEO Guide to Net Zero in collaboration with the World Economic Forum. The report “gives CEOs guidance on how to navigate the transition to net zero” claiming that “early adopters of net zero initiatives will see significant competitive advantages”. Read the report here
