Clarion Housing Group’s William Sutton Prize “invites disruptors and innovators to submit breakthrough and radical ideas that can accelerate the sector’s transition to a net zero carbon future whilst ensuring the benefits are felt by residents in a way that is equitable and inclusive”. Winners will each receive between £5,000 and £50,000 in grant funding and a tailored package of business support from Clarion to help grow their ideas and turn them into reality. Deadline: 3 July. The Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the Sustainable Food Trust have launched The Big Food Redesign Challenge which “aims to encourage the development of inspirational food products that have a positive impact on nature”. “Challenge participants will be supported to design new food products – or redesign existing ones – using circular design principles,” the organisers say. Successful teams will be invited to take their designs into production and pitch to leading retailers to bring the products to market. More here
