Circular Innovations Conference

A free, in-person half-day conference about how the UK can use cutting-edge digital technologies to deliver a Circular Economy. Timed alongside the development of the government’s new Circular Economy Strategy, the event will focus on how tech and innovation can transform resources and waste management, how digital devices are becoming more circular, and how AI, data analytics, and Internet of Things could revolutionise resource use. The theme is 'reinventing the wheel' to create smarter, more sustainable systems.

Decorative Fair - Spring Fair

Evolution London SW11 4NJ . May 6-11 . LINK

Green Grads are back sharing their skills on the mezzanine of the Decorative Fair in Battersea from May 6 -11. On May 6, learn techniques for joining textile scraps perfected by Jaime Cura and hear about Izzy Kelly's project, Fallen Furniture. May 7 - talk coral-inspired, unfired, recycled-content ceramics with Kurt Alexander and more stitching with Jaime Cura. May 8 - explore circular ceramics with Sara Howard (including Golden Earth Studio's use of construction waste) and willow weaving with Simon Redstone. May 9 - learn needle felting with Sofia Barbe. May 10–11 - learn to darn, dye, weave with deadstock yarns, and create waste collages.

Also on May 8, Barbara Chandler will chair a talk titled Meet the Green Grads, featuring five UK designers and their sustainable innovations in furniture, fashion, ceramics, and materials.

World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2025

Online and Brazil . May 13-16 . LINK

WCEF 2025 is centred around a main event in São Paulo (13–14 May), featuring keynote talks, panels, and breakout sessions on circular economy themes like nature, materials, people, and business - a lot will be online. Accelerator Sessions (15–16 May) take place globally and online, offering deeper dives into specific topics, case studies, and networking. WCEF Studios in other countries will contribute to the main event and with local workshops.

Day one focuses on the power of design in shaping circular solutions, while day two looks at materials and supply chains, with case studies from industries like textiles and construction. Day three, "FOCE Live," brings people together in London for workshops, networking, and speaker sessions. Tickets start from £119.

Circular Republic Festival (CRF) 2025

This year’s CRF will focus on "Build Your Competitive Advantage", exploring how circular practices can drive resilience and reshape industries in response to resource scarcity and climate challenges. The event will feature keynote speeches, hands-on workshops, and tailored advice to help businesses integrate circular economy principles into their strategies. A livestream ticket is just EUR 19.00.

Speakers and contributors will include representatives from BMW Group, BSH, Aurubis, SAP, PreZero, Tengelmann Twenty-One, L’Oréal, and over 40 innovative start-ups.

EU Green Week 2025 will focus on integrating circular economy principles to enhance sustainability and competitiveness. The June 3–5 conference in Brussels will feature policy discussions on the first two days, exploring how circular resource use can make the EU more competitive, resilient, and sustainable. The final day will host a stakeholder event, bringing together industry leaders, communities, and other stakeholders to share ideas and inspire action.

Throughout June, partner events across Europe will complement the conference, engaging businesses, individuals, and communities in the conversation.​
