The Rad Human Project describes itself as “a grassroots movement and community of like-minded humans … using purpose-driven short films, social impact expeditions and awareness initiatives … to educate, unite and inspire, while connecting our audience with organizations and non-profits focused on the important issues that require our action now”. A change.org petition is asking the BBC to install a permanent Climate Crisis tab on its homepage, alongside those for the Coronavirus, Business, Politics and so on. “This simple intervention would not only be extremely powerful for public messaging, but is editorially justified simply because of the magnitude and severity of the crisis facing us,” say the petition’s organisers.
