As part of its Cultural Policy Fellowship at Future Observatory, URGE Collective has written about the work we have been doing with the Design Museum and FO on the topic of reducing the carbon impact of temporary and touring exhibitions. Following our work on creating a sustainability audit for the Design Museum’s Waste Age exhibition, Urge worked with tDM to create an Environmental Impact Toolkit  consisting of a written guide to reducing the environmental impact of exhibition design and an updated and open source Impact Model designed to help the museum track and calculate the carbon emissions related to each exhibition and aid decision-making. Download the Toolkit and read about our work and how it has been shared with the wider museums sector here
